Rev. John Rajarathnam hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India was brought up in a staunch Christian family. With God’s call in his life, he finished his Bachelors in Electronic Science in Chennai. After his graduation, he worked with a company as customer service officer in Kerala for two and a half years and 6 months in Chennai.While he was, in Chennai working in that company, God confirmed the call of his life and he resigned the secular job and committed his life to serve God full-time.After the resignation, according to the direction of God, John Rajarathnam joined Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala, Adoor, Kerala to pursue theological education in the year 2005. In the year 2009, he graduated in Bachelors of Divinity (B.D.).During the internship of his theological pursuit God confirmed his early ministry to be focussed in Karnataka. Based on God’s direction, he joined Indian Christian Revival Mission (ICRM) in Mysore, Karnataka. He worked as the Academic Dean of the training wing of ICRM called Operation Harvest Ministerial Training Centre (OHMTC) for two years and as the principal of the same institution for four years. During the same period, he served God in the ICRM Central Church, Mysore as one of the Associate Pastor taking care of the worship team, music, teens and young people. As God directed him to end the ministry in south India and head towards North India, God opened a way to join Mission India Theological Seminary. Currently he holds the responsibility as faculty cum Chaplain.
